Fortune Dragon Update

Thought that I would post an update to the Fortune Dragon model that I am currently working on. As of right now I am just wrapping up my 10th hour on the bitmap texture creation with probably 2 or 3 more hours left to go before I have to move on. Here is what the little guy looks like right now...

The dragon looks a bit frightening to me. Which is not bad. But I had expected a more funny/cute look.

I think that is the real art of you guys that you can change the whole personality/characteristics of a model, by doing and applying different textures.

Well done.
Will it spit fireballs? :)

I am probably going to lessen the mean looking bones that he has in his wings, hopefully that will resolve this issue.

As for fireballs, I am not certain to be honest. At this time I am not aware of this need though in the game that he is going into.

I got the point. The puzzle game does not need fireballs, but there is so much potential in this character.

Maybe there should be mean and fire spitting flying dragons in RW ;)

Good looking dragon! Man, you have come a long way in your art skills.

I was wondering about the Chinese lung you mentioned, as I learned it as long, but it turns out it's the Cantonese pronunciation. What about giving the little guy some small, wispy tendrils above his lips, like the mustaches that the Chinese dragons have? It would give him a wiser, but still playful look because of his big eyes. Maybe he could be animated to preen his moustache when waiting?

But what do I know...

Good suggestions. I have to spend some time tweaking the texture up again now that I have most of the animations done, maybe I can add some sagely dragon in.
