And People Wonder why the PC Market is Falling to Consoles?

I stumbled upon a startling article today about how Creative Labs is sueing a driver modder who re-enabled a bunch of features and extended compatability that Creative Labs chose to disable or turn off on customers who are running Vista but not XP!

Probably the most startling thing of all is this:
"After tolerating the distribution of his unofficial drivers for a time, Creative's vice president of corporate communications, Phil O'Shaughnessy, ultimately asked him to stop, and accused him of "stealing their goods." O'Shaughnessy also wrote that whether or not it cripples its Vista drivers is a "business decision that only we have the right to make."

This definately makes me think twice before I ever buy and other Creative Labs product (sadly I was thinking of getting a ZEN before this). Congratulations on showing yourself as a heartless corporation who has no desire to make quality products Creative Labs, you (and companies that operate like you) are the reason why the PC market is in a strong decline in comparison to other growing markets like consoles.
